What customers are saying about the Silky saws

"I wanted to let you know how satisfied we are with the Silky product line. Arborguard Tree Specialist has over 30 full time climbers and plant health care technicians that currently use several Silky handsaws.

Silky handsaws out perform all the other handsaws manufactures out there, hands down. With all the employees we have we have used many other handsaws manufactures and have found the many problems with there products over time.

Personally I have had the wooden handles break after a short time of use and the blades bending after cutting a branch. We do not have to worry about that with Silky saws, the handles on all of the saws are durably and are made like they were meant to custom fit each climbers hand and the quality and thickness in the steel used. Honestly I have never used a saw that has stayed sharp for such a long period of time.

There are days when crews need to work on high maintenance golf courses, were the members would rather keep the chainsaw noise down at all costs, that’s were the Ibuki 390 and the Sugoi 360 come in and handle business. I’m grateful for your product and your services. Thank you!

"I just wanted to let you know, I just purchased a silky SUGOI 360 and it is the best hand saw i have ever used. I no longer have to use my chainsaw as much which is great. I am also looking at buying the Hayate 420 pole saw... I just wanted to know that after running a tree service for 10 years that I enjoy your products, they are light weight and great to use. Thanks again."

"Just a quick note to thank you for the unbelievably speedy delivery of my Zubat saw. I used it this week and love it!! Cuts like butter. Thanks."

"Dear Silky Saw Company, I did not get a package, and called your 888- number--your rep stayed on the phone and talked me through the process of finding the package--he was WONDERFUL!!! It is rare to get that kind of customer service today--thank you for your fine product!"

"I received my saw back today with the replacement blade & my free gift saw as well. You guys really went above and beyond to back your products. I have been using your hand saws for years to assist in cutting trails and climb trees for deer hunting wherever I need to. The features I like the best are the aggressive cutting teeth, the light carry weight and the rubber assist hand grips. I am traveling to Missouri this week to camp & hunt and I am very glad I’ll have your saws with me to get the job done easily and conveniently. The Silky products are excellent tools for a variety of outdoor jobs. I recommend them to all my outdoor friends. Thanks again for your excellent customer service!"

"The Zubat just arrived! I like the new scabbard clip, now I don't have to worry about loosing the scabbard when transporting it with my other pole tools in their holder on the side of the chip box on my truck. I've been in this business for three decades, and have noticed that the tools used are the ones that work best; and the tool companies that make it are the ones that continue to invest in improving the quality and usefulness of their products. (Case in point, Homelite vs. Stihl, in the important chainsaw market niche). I give Silky my highest recommendation, I believe you that have the best handsaws and polesaws on the market today!"

"I must say, I'm very impressed with Silky products... I just received an Accel 160 after being so pleased with the Hayauchi 390... and will be ordering an Ibuki 390 in the coming days (when stocks are listed online)... The tool quality, performance, and price is exceptional... Your packaging and fast shipping is likewise impressive... So now I can add to this list, customer service... It would appear that you have the whole gamut covered, and are not lacking in any aspect... Congratulations on running a great operation...."

"I would just like to express just how I am so impressed with my new Hayate 20 foot pole saw… I have a new chainsaw in the garage, and this pole saw will keep it new for a long time. I live in South Florida and this tool will come in handy in the upcoming Hurricane season. I also plan to purchase the Sugoi 360 as a complement to the pole saw. We have palm, citrus, and many other kinds of trees on our property and they all succumb to the "MIGHTY" Hayate. Thanks again for the awesome saw."

P. Fitzgibbon
Pompano Beach, FL

"I have received my saw [Hayauchi 21-Feet] that I ordered. I didn't waist anytime getting it out of the box as soon as UPS delivered it. It cut down all the limbs that I needed to reach and beyond with ease. Now, if you only sold a tool that would haul them off with just as much ease. Thanks for having such a great product available to the non-professional."

K. Barber
Potwin, KS

"I finally bought one. I was impressed. The current pruning saws I were using seemed like stone age tools compared to my Silky Super Accel. The first day I had it I took it out to work on a snowshoe trail that I have. I cut dead dry oak limbs something that never would have dreamed of using other saws. It's like using fine precision tool, high quality and well made. Thank you for such a product."

D. Larrabee
Litchfield, ME

"I just got a PocketBoy 170 and I'm very impressed. I saw the ad in Outside Magazine and I thought it would be good to carry on backpacking trips - light and useful for cutting firewood. Boy is it ever. I recently used it in the backcountry and was amazed at how easily this little saw cut through even large logs. My fellow backpackers were envious. I also can't say enough good things about the customer service at Silky. It was very helpful and responsive to my needs. Thanks for making a superior product!"

R. Ehinger

"I've been tree farming for eight years and have done a lot of side-branch pruning with 13" handheld saws made by Fanno and Corona, and I thought they were just fine until I stumbled across my first Silky last year. It's a 6' Nobita that offers a couple of real benefits compared to the other saws - the Silky blades cut very well with less pressure required and leave super smooth finished cut surfaces, and the handle eliminates the need for me to lean over and into the tree - often fighting through branches to get to the trunk to make the pruning cut. I'm a big fan of the Silky saw - and now that I've found your store with the exciting selection, and I see how responsive you are to questions and to filling orders, I plan to be a lifelong customer since I'll be working my plantation about that long."

N. Arnold
Fort Wayne, IN

"Received the saws today. I used the first ones I got and it's incredible. If I can afford it I will buy all types even just for looks. This is more fun than buying jewelries. These silky saws are a lot better than the power saws (electric and gas) without the extra weight."

I. Cruz
Poway, CA

"Just got my Zubat330, amazing. First, it is the coolest looking saw I have ever seen. The holster makes me feel like a samurai warrior. It cuts so smooth and fast I get a little scared. I'm not sure I will ever use my chainsaw again. Best tool I ever bought next to my Stihl extension pole saw. Everyone should own a Zubat. It makes the Corona look like child’s play. I was out of town when it arrived; my son called and said he and his friend were so excited they took the liberty to "trim" the tree in the backyard. I couldn't wait to get home and start cutting. My son is 17, so I knew it must be really cool for him to call and tell me about it since it takes a lot to impress him, other than girls of course. I ordered off the website, and I found a few more saws I may buy. I don't really need the other saws but they are so cool I may not be able to resist."

J. Quick
Tucson, AZ

"Well now I've tried them all, Fanno, Bartlett, Corona and even a few really cheap ones. Their is no comparison. Silky beats them all "Hands Down"! They are stronger, thicker, cut better and stay sharp longer. You've got me and my crews for life."

D. Draper
Bowling Green, KY

"Just got my first Silky Zubat last week and I am impressed. I had no idea a hand saw could work this well. It's earned a permanent home in my truck. After using the Zubat, I don’t think I could use another Wolf, Corona, or Bahco."

R. Browning
Indianapolis, IN

"I ordered my first Silky Saw a few weeks ago: a large teeth PocketBoy 170, and am very impressed. This is the best made and fastest cutting small saw I've ever owned. We have a small ranch, and I rarely walk out the door now without my PocketBoy (in my pocket, of course!) …

A. Forsythe
Spicewood, TX

"Silky saws! They are the best saws I have found, extremely sharp and smooth cutting. Very fast, just make sure you know where BOTH hands are! I doubt I will ever use anything else. I've got a Super Accel that fits nicely in my pocket on maintenance jobs, it's used a couple of times a week."

D. Felix

"Purchased the Pole Saw HAYAUCHI 390 16-Feet…a couple months back. This pole saw is truly a professional saw, pruning tree limbs is a shear pleasure. This is one of those pole saws you don’t have to learn to use. Cutting 3 inch diameter limbs at four feet overhead or eighteen foot overhead is fast and easy. I am not a professional when it comes to pruning trees, I have had extensive training in the way of pruning needs for the home owner, this is an expensive saw for the average home owner’s pruning needs, but well worth the money. I would recommend a home owner invest their money in a SILKY saw that fits their pruning needs. You don’t have to learn to use the SILKY saws like many of the cheaper brands of saws. Thanks for the HAYAUCHI Pole saw, can’t say enough about my SILKY."

J. Robbins
Gautier, MS

"I have been very impressed with my silky saws. They appear to be well built and come very sharp and ready to use. I really like the multiple blade positions on the folding saws. In all, they are top notch tools."

D. Baron
Jackson, MS

"I first became acquainted with Silky saws through a fellow Arborist. I was so impressed with the performance that I purchased a saw and replacement blades through his company. With regards to the product, I like the saws for the ease of handling, excellent performance, price, and durability. I wouldn't consider purchasing any other product."

W. Ortiz
Stelle, IL

"Silky are the best saws in the world! Enlarged nose tip prevents saw pulling off branch on your back cut. Curved blade cuts more of the wood with each pull (300mm good size). Silky blades are super sharp and smooth, leaving lovely clean cuts. Grippy, comfortable handle - sticks to your hand… Thanks again!"

M. Evison
Derby, England

"… I'm impressed! Spent about three hours on Friday cutting back old limbs and overhang. I was expecting a decent saw of high quality, but it one went beyond, both in construction and ease of use. It was a joy to use compared to a pole saw which I broke a couple of weeks earlier. The cut is very smooth on each stroke, not just on the pull stoke as my older saw."

R. Bennett
Tallahassee, FL

"Wow what a saw (about IBUKI)! This really is a Mini-chainsaw! It's a great saw for limbing 1 inch to 6 inch branches with ease. Be careful - this one's so sharp and cuts so fast I about cut my finger off making the first cut."

C. Corigliano
Spokane, WA

"I consider my Silky products some of the best in my shed. I will be back to order more. I'm quite interested in the upcoming release of the new pole saw. Thanks for your terrific products and service."

R. Crangle

"I've been using Silky Saws for some time and I can tell you that their quality is excellent!"

"On the Methow Valley Ranger District (Okanogan and Wenatchee National Forests) the trail crew has found the Silky Gomboy 300mm to be a very useful tool. It allows us to quickly clear small diameter trees from the trail, and its light weight and compact size allows it to be kept easily acceptable. This is our second year using the Silky Gomboy 300mm and we have been pleased with its performance."

L. McIver
Winthrop, WA

"...I have been very impressed with my Silky Saw F-180. I am just amazed how sharp it stayed after all my cuttings! Absolutely best folding saw I ever owned!! (and I tried quite few of them)."

C. Mcousek
Laguna Niguel, CA

"I am the Trails Program Manager for the US Forest Service on the Okanogan National Forest. Last year we purchased Silky Gomboy 300… The saws have become a favorite with our trail crew and volunteer trail groups…"

D. Rogers
Spokane, WA

"I bought a Zubat a few months ago, and absolutely love it. When climbing trees, I would rather have just the Zubat by my side than carry a heavy, and NOISY chain saw (which does not really cut all that much faster). I have trimmed dozens of trees with just my Zubat, and periodically cut limbs up to 10" in diameter with it. Thank you for making such a quality handsaw that helps to keep the noise level down!"

K. Kraemer
McPherson, KS

"Though I have tried a number of Silky Saws, both folding and sheathed, my favorite has become the Gomboy 300mm folding. For limbs up to wrist-diameter it has replaced my top-handled chainsaw at 1/10th the price. Silky Saws are phenomenal!"

J. Clark
Indianapolis, IN

"Just tried Pocket-Boy. It was just what I needed for pruning in the nursery where I'm working. I use Silky saws as well when I'm climbing in a tree. Keep going. Arborist from Finland."

M. Palmu
Helsinki, Finland

"I recently purchased a Hayauchi pole saw... This is a formidable piece of equipment - solid, balanced, incredible craftsmanship and a wicked sharp saw. Expensive, yes, but a great value when you consider ease of use, integrity of design and overall professional demeanor. Thanks!"

Hillsdale, NY
